Amy is a proud graduate of the University of Windsor Faculty of Law where she received two Board of Governors Medals for outstanding academic achievement

Amy was called to the Ontario bar following dual articles of clerkship, at the Court of Appeal for Ontario and the Superior Court of Justice (Ontario) – Central West Region. After her articles, she obtained a Master of Law from Cambridge University (Right Honorable Paul Martin Sr. Scholarship; Pegasus Scholar, Inner Temple, London, UK)

Amy’s practice consists primarily of complex criminal trials, appeals and professional regulatory matters

Member of the Criminal Lawyers’ Association and the Toronto Lawyers’ Association

Active member of the Probono Inmate Appeal Program at the Court of Appeal for Ontario, assisting unrepresented appellants with appeals from conviction and sentence

Amy has been a sessional lecturer at the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and Queen’s University Faculty of Law, where she received the Stanley M. Corbett Award for Teaching Excellence. She tutors in Criminal Law for the Law Society of Ontario’s Barrister Examinations
